Hockney

David Hockney's paintings and photographs shows the layers and views of each one. For his paintings, they are all very colorful and expressive showing pictures of homes, nature, etc. His photographs looked into a new idea of taking multiple photos of the same view but in different angles. Both his photographs and paintings brought new light to their fields changing the world of the arts forever.

Idea

Because i am going to a different state over intersession, I think it will be cool if I did a contrast of Colorado and California. I was thinking of photographing the snow and the atmosphere in a cool way and then when I return to California, my sister and I are planning on going surfing on Friday so I could take photos of the waves showing the contrast between the two. I changed it to contrast in the sky and had the wing of the plane be a constant in the photos to show the similarities and the contrasts.

What Color Am I?

I picked the color yellow because yellow is such a bright and fun color and I feel like that represents me. I feel like I am a bright and loud person just like the color. I chose to pick this photo representing me as a color because the yellow and the sky overpowers the darkness of the trees and the night sky. This shows me because I am a confident, strong, and loud person making the sky represent how I think of myself as this impacting force of nature. I chose to put the color in black because I like how the word blended in with the darkness of the trees. Just a little story of this photo, my sister was leaving for school at 6:30 in the morning and I ran outside to take this photo.
